Meet Khai & Ivy
I’m Khai. My mom is Ivy.
I don’t sit down and do nails. I’m the smile that greets you when you walk in and the energy that makes this place feel like home. I remember your name, ask where you’re going, what you’re wearing, and what you’ve tried before that you didn’t love. Then I match you with the right technician.
Ivy has 30 years of experience. She walks the floor and checks every set before you leave. She won’t let anyone walk out with work we’d be embarrassed to put our name on. People think I’m the nice one because I greet you at the door. She’s the one who keeps the standard high.
We both care, and we don’t treat you like just another appointment. We see you as a friend.
VIP Nails Sugar Land is family-owned and run by Khai and his mom, Ivy, at 3565 Hwy 6, in the same shopping center as TJ Maxx. We keep it simple: clean stations, careful work, and nails you'll want to show off.

Quick answers before you book.
Do I need an appointment?
Booking. Book online for standard manicures, pedicures, and simple fills. No deposit. No card online. You pay at the salon after your service. Appointments are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome when a chair is open.
Online holds your time for those standard services. Custom work still needs a call or a request form — we place you by hand. Ombré & Pink & White (from $55), basic Gel-X & solid-color Builder Gel (from $60), and Chrome (+$15) now book online. How do I book?

How do I cancel or change my time?
Cancel or move. Call (832) 840-0660 or use your confirmation link at least 4 hours before your appointment.
Late. Running late? Call us at (832) 840-0660 and we’ll work around your schedule, with no penalty. If you’re 15 minutes late without calling, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment.
No-shows. If you no-show or cancel last minute more than once, we may ask you to call next time.
Do you offer complimentary drinks?
Yes — every guest can enjoy two complimentary drinks with your service. Choose a frozen margarita (lemonade or strawberry, virgin or with tequila), a soft drink, hot coffee, house red or white wine, champagne, or a classic cocktail. You must be 21+ with a valid ID for alcohol. Just ask your tech or the front desk. See our drink menu.

What services do you offer?
Spa pedicures, manicures, acrylic & gel art (including Gel X & builder gel), custom nail art, waxing, lash & brow, facial, and kids. See our Services page for the full menu.
What if my nails lift or break after my visit?
If something we did chips, cracks, lifts, or has an obvious defect, come back within 7 days and we’ll fix it free. Same shape, same color, unless we agree on a change. You have to come in — we can’t fix it over the phone.
The 7-day clock covers regular polish, gel/shellac, acrylic, Gel-X, and builder. Kids sets follow the same clock.
Not covered: a grown-out smile line, a new design you changed your mind about, a length or shape change you want, or breaks from picking, sports, or another salon.
After the first week, repairs are $5 per nail and up depending on complexity. This is a first-week shop promise — not a lifetime warranty.
Do you specialize in nail art?
Yes — custom nail art is a specialty. We can recreate almost any design. Bring photos from Instagram or Pinterest and we’ll match the vibe. Who owns VIP Nails?
Khai and his mom Ivy. Khai greets you, hears what you want, and picks the right technician. Ivy walks the floor and holds the standard on the work.
